Keep track of your internet usage directly from your desktop!

Fed up of logging into the college web site to track your internet usage? Our handy new Vista gadget will show you how much bandwidth you've used right on your own desktop.
Awesome. What do I need?
A computer running Microsoft Windows Vista. We plan to offer a Google sidebar gadget soon.
How do I get it?
Click the link below to download the file jcr.gadget. Save this to your desktop then double-click to install the gadget.
Download the Christ's JCR Windows Vista sidebar gadget
The gadget should automatically be added to your sidebar. If it isn't, simply click the "+" symbol at the top of your screen and drag the Network Traffic gadget onto your desktop / sidebar:

How accurate are the stats?
The gadget downloads your statistics from the college servers every 10 minutes.
Will it use up my internet bandwidth?
No, it connects direct to the servers in Z so won't use up your CUDN or internet bandwidth allowances.
How does it know who I am?
The gadget will automatically detect the network connection you're plugged into and give you the updated statistics for that connection. So if you are using Lapwing you won't get any stats.
Who do I send feedback to?
The gadget was coded by David Tattersall (dt316). All feedback / complaints / feature requests to him!
