International Students

Internationals at Christ's:

With currently over 80 internationals, Christ’s College has a relatively large proportion of students from all over the world. The internationals are well integrated in all aspects of college life, including the many sports and other societies. The JCR and the International Rep try to promote this, while at the same time respecting the cultural background of all students. It is encouraged that internationals also try to maintain links with their home countries and uphold the cultural diversity in college.

Your International Officer:

This year’s International Rep is Alex Ngoi, a second year Engineer. His main role is to make the views and concerns of the international students heard in the JCR and college. He will also help to deal with any problems of the international community at large, as well as specific issues of individual students. If you have any concerns or ideas, or just need to talk, feel free to contact him.
 
A second job of the International Rep is to organise events, such as formals, nights out or swaps with international students from other colleges. If you are interested in this, or have any other ideas please always contact him.
