It may be called 'The Place' (how pretentious), but we all know it as Life. It's the nearest club to college (it has been timed at 22 seconds out of the sidegate), generally plays chart pop and R'n'B, and is renowned forbeing particularly hot, sticky, and sweaty.

Recommended more for its proximity to Christ's than anything else. The bouncers can be pretty unpleasant. Pass by in the mornings and someone always seems to be washing some unfortunate reveller's blood into the drains nearby. I hope that isn't too worrying.

Oh, and if you live in Z or X, do expect to be kept awake into the small hours.

Survivor Saturdays - £7.50 before 11, £9 after. Open 'til 4, themed differently each week. Over 21s only.

Sunday

Resurrection - £5, cheaper with CUSU card. Organised by the Hawks (the University Blues Club, like a more hardcore Margs) and CURFC.
