First Year Reps

Hello hello, I’m Emily and I am one of the Fresher’s Reps for 2009/10.

Mine and Dan’s role is to support and aid freshers, firstly the ones who like myself are currently in the first year of Christ’s, and secondly but not less importantly next years’ prospective freshers! If you ever want to chat about something that’s bothering you, an issue you want raised to the JCR Exec that is concerning you, or would just like some giggles, I tend to be around in the JCR or the bar or feel free to contact me in any way listed below. I am also responsible for making sure you as first-years know what’s going on with the JCR and how that may affect you. Feel free to ask, we know the answers at least most of the time!

Of course, one of our main jobs is to organise Fresher’s Week 2010, which I’m sure you’re all already looking forward to ... It shall be amazing. Plans are being made. That is all. Having said that, if you are currently trapped in the application process at some stage, hold an offer from Christ’s or already know you’re coming up next year, you are most welcome to contact either of us if there’s anything at all you’re interested to know  J

Hello there incoming Freshers!

I'm Dan- 1st Year Historian and your other First Year Rep- and, along with Emily, it is my job to ensure Fresher's Week 2010 is the best week of your lives.  Both Emily and myself are busy planning this crazy week- making sure that it is as fun and as stress-free as possible.  We are ready to show you the wonderful world that is Christ's and the fantastic lives you will all be leading at Cambridge next year.  We are both always around whether it is for current Freshers, those waiting for an offer or those with a place ready for them at Christs.  So really don't be afraid to contact us... we're not that scary.

Life at Christ's has been unbelievable so far and we will ensure that all of next year's Freshers settle in very quickly and learn to love the Cambridge ways- from trips to Cindies, Matriculation dinners, excursions to the Porters Lodge and even a spot of Pennying.....  Don't worry- we're here to teach you all.
