For those of you new to college who are perhaps not sure what a May Ball consists of, think vibrant, lavish, elegant, all-night party, transforming the college and its courts from their everyday appearance into the most splendid, exciting and magical setting. Decoration, lighting and marquees capture the imagination within the college grounds, while food and drink are on offer all night, together with live music, dancing, casino and other forms of entertainment. It is an occasion not to be missed and all takes place at Christ's once every two years during May Week (in June!)

As always, three types of tickets are available:

Non-dining, £104, Includes all food and drink at stalls within the Ball.

VIP, £120, Includes early entry to the Ball, avoiding the queues, to a champagne and canapé reception.

Dining, £150, Dine in splendour in Formal Hall. A multitude of courses make up an exquisite menu, served with a range of wines to suit every palate. Last year's delicacies included swordfish and mulberry sorbet.
