Help build website to celebrate Darwin

The 200th anniversary of the birth of Darwin

As you will know, 2009 is a big celebration in the life of Christ's with the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin. To mark this we hope to produce a website to celebrate Darwin's life, work and the impact of his ideas. The plan is to make a site that will be accessable to A-level students and also to the general public.

And that is where you come in! We are hoping that many of you will want to be part of the website production team. We need enthusiastic people to write sections and to think creatively about how to explain Darwin's work and the impact of his ideas without jargon. We also need people with a passion for design and those with website production skills. We hope that this project will be driven by a group of students keen to make it your own. It will be a chance to help people in schools, to raise the profile of the college and to show what you can do to a potential employer - and it will be fun!

To find out more, please come along to a brief meeting in the Plumb auditorium on Wedneday 5th March at 6pm. If you can't make that time but would like to be involved, email Matt Higgins (mkh20).
