The 2009 Fund
Celebrate Cambridge's 800th Anniversary

The 2009 Fund, amounting to some £250,000, has been established to support University or College affiliated groups or student societies wishing to stage their own 800th anniversary related events. Lucy Cavendish College, the Department of Archaeology and the CU Graduate Mathematics Society were all supported in the second round of funding, joining CU Spaceflight, the Magdalene Society of Medievalists and Clare College, amongst others, on the list of successful applicants to the 2009 Fund.
The deadline for the final round of the 2009 Fund applications is 22 October, 2008. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit draft applications or speak to the 800th anniversary event staff about their ideas prior to the deadline.
