Christ's News

  1. May Ball Committee 2010
  2. It might only seem like a matter of months since the success of this years Jasmine Ball, but preparations for Christ’s May Ball 2010 are already underway and now your college needs you!

At the beginning of next term we will be recruiting for the next Committee and we want as many freshers and second years to get keen as possible. Not only does a committee role look great on a CV but it is a really enjoyable experience and a fantastic thing to achieve.

So if you think you have an amazing theme idea and wouldn’t mind having £100,000 at your disposal to make it happen watch out for more details about how to apply around college and in the next bulletin!

    Until then May Ball love
    Jordanna, Flo and Brendan

  5. Yearbook Committee
  6. Are you a third or fourth year (i.e. matriculated in 2006 and/or graduating in 2009)? Are you interested in creating the book that will document your years at Christ’s College? Would you enjoy getting people excited about selecting their favourite college memories, and love working as part of an exclusive team to create the 2008-2009 Yearbook?

Then apply for the Christ’s College Yearbook Committee!

The JCR Exec wants YOU to apply for the position of President, Vice President or Treasurer. Submit an A4 sheet with your personal details (name, year, subject) and reasons for applying. Most of the work should be done in Lent Term so that the yearbooks can, ideally, be distributed by the end of that term

Submit your application to Chloe Hole’s pigeonhole by Friday, 5th December. The exec will then vote to determine the team in charge of organising the 2008-2009 Yearbook.
