Future
The future looks distinctly bright for Christ’s college undergraduates – why?
1) Integration with the fellowship
Over the last six months the college leadership has committed itself to promoting greater integration between students and the fellowship. As part of this the Master and Vice-Master addressed a student meeting about key elements of the college’s strategic plan, whilst during Freshers’ week a pub quiz took place with mixed teams of students and fellows.
Greater integration can only be beneficial to undergraduates:
- It will help establish a good relationship with the fellows, meaning our ideas on the running of college may be more readily accepted
- It will help students bond with the fellows, meaning that, should a problem arise, there will be a fellow on hand whom the student feels comfortable talking to. Thus, improving the already good tutorial system.
- It will extend the sense of community spirit within the undergraduate body to the whole college, making Christ’s an even more enjoyable place to live.
